The beautiful Butterfly Ballet pendant, designed by Mike Maixner, was worn by Danalee as a reminder of his love and appreciation for her passion as a dancer, mother and wife. Though it was designed nearly 25 years ago to symbolize what Danalee's life represented, it now helps to represent an important vision of awareness and support.

The Pas de Trois, which translates to "dance for three," was re-crafted by Stuller Jewelers and given Mike Maixner's seal of approval. A portion of the proceeds from every purchase on this website will support ovarian cancer research and awareness and foster a love of dance through scholarship.

Danalee lost a courageous three year struggle with ovarian cancer in September 2006. A couple of months later Mike had a dream of his beloved Danalee dancing among the stars and was inspired to begin writing songs and poetry that mourned and celebrated his lost love. This album includes three of these poignant melodies “Her Time to Go”, “My Danalee” and “Still In His Heart”.
